Well I didn't hear from Matt again. However, my Daughter's Boyfriend's Parents are driving the equiptment trailer down as their daughter is in the color guard. According to her they got down to yesterday's destination at approximately 4:40pm. Which is just a little later than the planned time, so I'd say they did well. I tried to get a text off to him again, but it wouldn't go through. He may be to far away, I'm not sure.
